Living From The Jesus Side Of Life

                              Giving because I can,
                            Receiving because I'm blessed,
                         Making a difference because I should,
                      Standing for what's right because I must,
                            And loving because it's best.

In one way or another all followers of Jesus live for a
singular reason: to be high impact people.

No, we may not term it so on a daily basis, but our actions
reveal it.

We give because we were given to, desire to make a
difference in someone's life because Someone made a
difference in ours, stand for what's right because Someone
stood for us when we weren't right by any stretch of the
imagination...

And we strive to love because the man Jesus took an extended
time out from the Father's presence in order to meet our
greatest need: the need to see and live life from a
completely different side of the fence:

His side.
*His* side of the fence.

We seek to live a high impact life solely because of the
perspective we enjoy -- and cling to for all *He's* worth --
the perspective we gain from "the other side" of life.

From the Jesus side of life we see people made whole,
marriages restored, crushed hearts given new hope, the
fatherless being adopted by a loving Father, those without
purpose zeroing in on "things that matter most," and beauty
emerging from the ashes of an ever dying world.

And because we see His way, we...

* Give as redeemed people,
* Receive as those blessed beyond measure,
* Become difference makers because it really does make a
   difference,
* Take integrity based stands in an integrity neutralized
   world,
* And risk loving time and time again because we remain
   unshaken in our belief that His love can truly conquer all:

Including death itself.

In short, we live -- and die -- for the privilege of being
High Impact People for Jesus.

May the Lord bless us as we remind ourselves one more time,
during one more season of our lives, that our chosen style
of living is always worth it all!

We live for Jesus
Because through Jesus
We know the true meaning of life:
It's life on the other side.
The "Jesus side of the fence."
